Industrial Accidents

If you have been involved in any accident at work during the course of the last three years then you may be able to claim no matter how trivial you think the accident may be.

Industrial Disease

There are a number of contractible diseases that can be caused by injurious working conditions. Our dedicated team of lawyers will be able to give advice on many conditions including the following:-

Vibration White Finger

This can occur if you have used:-

Grinders, Jack Hammers, Windy Drills and Picks or any pneumatic tools. If you have any of the following symptoms you may have a claim:- pins and needles, tingling sensation (especially in cold weather), fingers going white, loss of feeling and an inability to grip, difficulty handling small objects

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

If you have any of the following symptoms in your hands, wrists, arms or thumbs and have used the tools listed above then you may have a claim:-

Tingling and numbness along the central nerve in the hand and arm, increased pain in your fingers if your hands are fully flexed, weakness and wasting of the muscles of the thumb, pain and loss of power in arms, wrists and hands.

Exposure to Asbestos

If you have been exposed to Asbestos at any time during your career you may be able to claim. It doesn't matter how short a time it may have been. You may have been diagnosed with pleural plaques, pleural thickening or another asbestos related condition.

If you have, then you may have a claim.

Noise Induced Deafness (Industrial Deafness)

If you have worked in a particularly noisy environment and have difficulties with the following then you may have a claim:-

Around background noise you have difficulty picking out specific conversations and noise, people complain that you shout, you have to turn the volume up on your TV or Radio, you have difficulty hearing the telephone, you have a ringing or whooshing noise in your ears.

Occupational Asthma and Allergic Rhinitis

If you experience difficulty with breathing, suffer from wheezing, have been diagnosed as having asthma, have a runny nose or congested nasal passage or a poor sense of taste then you may be suffering from asthma or allergic rhinitis.

This is particularly a problem for those who have worked in shipyards, docks, chemical and agricultural industries, engineering welding and chrome plating.

Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema

If you experience difficulties breathing or have been diagnosed as suffering from the above condition and have worked in the mining industry or spent some of your working life underground or in a particularly dusty environment then you may have a claim.
